Susan arrived in Seattle in 1981 after graduating from San Jose State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in interior design. After not using her degree for 2 years she landed at Miller Hull where she continued to not use her degree. What began as a temporary 3 week position in 1987 has morphed into a career.

In the 1980’s Miller Hull was a computer-free office of 8 people, an open studio that felt very much like a family operation. Great work was being done and the energy and enthusiasm was catching. It was the kind of place you wanted to stay! Susan’s role morphed over the years, moving from receptionist/bookkeeper/marketer to full time marketer. At present she is the ‘marketing director’ and does a little bit of everything.
