Sian S. Roberts, AIA, LEED AP

Architect and partner of the Miller Hull Partnership, Sian Roberts has more than 20 years of experience, has worked on various building types and has experience with transformative renovations of existing buildings. She has a strong background in traditional and alternative delivery methods and has been involved in pursuing the use of BIM to improve the design and construction process and to deliver better service to our clients.

Sian earned her Bachelor of Science degree in physics at Haverford College in 1986 and her master’s degree in architecture from the University of Washington in 1991, where she received the Pio Prize for study at the University of Washington’s Rome Center. She has taught design studio at the University of Washington and serves as a jury member on student reviews and design programs throughout the country. Sian is a board member of the Seattle Architectural Foundation, where she is active in developing and maintaining youth programs, including downtown Seattle family tours, model building workshops, and school programs. As leader of Miller Hull’s in-house green design team (known as Mixed Greens), Sian supports and encourages continual exploration and integration of new sustainable products and ideas. Furthermore, she is on the executive committee of the Northwest Region of the Design Build Institute of America and brings a proactive, integrated project delivery approach to all of her projects.
