Catherine Popolow, AIA
Associate
Katie Popolow has more than 20 years of experience. Her effective communication skills and likeable personality
contribute to her success in working with a diverse project team of designers, consultants, clients, and public agencies.
Her organizational abilities, attention to detail, and management of the schedule and costs are tremendous resources to
the team. She has extensive experience in coordinating sub-consultant teams and in quickly and accurately pulling information
from all disciplines together into a concise, high quality set of construction documents.
Katie received her bachelor of arts in architecture degree from the University of Washington in 1988,
and worked in architecture until pursuing a master of architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania
1991-1993. She participated in the University of Washington Italian Studies Program in Rome in 1987.
Katie worked at Olson Sundberg from 1994-1999, and joined Miller Hull in 2000. In 2005, she became an associate.
Currently, Katie is on the AIA Seattle Program Committee, has taught design studio at the University of Washington,
and is actively interested in architecture for education at all levels. She participates in AIA CAE, CEFPI, and SCUP.
