Lake Washington School District Resource & Administration Center
This Administration and Resource Center is the physical and electronic hub for the Lake Washington School District, providing centralized access for staff, and maximizing the interaction between the school district and the community it serves. The 60,000 s.f. center is composed of three unique departments, 33,000 s.f. for Resources, 27,000 s.f. for Training and Shared Public Resources.

The Departmental Resource area accommodates the school district's administration staff, as well as support functions such as the computer room. Open office workstations promote interaction between departments and provide flexibility for future changes.

The Training Resource area is concentrated along a public commons area, and consists of unique instructional learning and meeting rooms including a learning classroom/TV production studio that is used primarily to train teachers and other school district staff. The training resource is available for public use.

The Shared/Public Resource area is dispersed throughout the building, but is focused on the commons area. The commons functions as an interpretive area, with direct or visual access to the training and resource functions of the building, informal gathering and study areas, and informational displays.
